There are no special tools required for installing the Passiv Smart Thermostat. The Passiv Smart Thermostat is commissioned from the rich colour screen of the Passiv Programmer in under two minutes without the need for a smartphone or internet connection.

In order to connect each component of the Passiv Smart Thermostat to the heat pump, you will require twisted pair comms cable . We also recommend using ferrules for connecting cables to the Passiv Hub and Passiv Programmer.
