What are Groups?

Groups allow you to limit what Systems a User can see on the Passiv Portal. When you create a Group, you select what Systems belong to it. You can then restrict a User’s visibility to just this Group. 

Only Admins can create and manage Groups, and determine what Groups a User can see. An Admin can always see all the installations belonging to their company.

Groups are useful for restricting what is visible in the Passiv Portal. For example, if you want to limit a subcontractor to only be able to see the installations they have been involved with, you could create a Group containing these Systems and set the subcontractor’s account to only be able to view this Group.
