Is the Passiv Smart Thermostat compatible with Sunamp heat batteries?

RS485 Modbus Control

The Passiv Smart Thermostat is not compatible with Sunamp heat batteries when installed with RS485 Modbus control. This is because the Sunamp heat battery does not report temperature in the same way that hot water tanks do.

Relay Control

The Passiv Smart Thermostat is compatible with Sunamp heat batteries when installed with relay control. Hot water will be managed entirely by the heat pump independently of the Passiv Smart Thermostat.
