How to install the Passiv Smart Thermostat with a Worcester Bosch heat pump

To install the Passiv Smart Thermostat with Worcester Bosch heat pumps, for either 1 or 2 zones with wired or wireless Thermostats, follow the steps below. 

1. Check compatibility
   View all compatible Worcester Bosch heat pumps at Worcester Bosch supported heat pumps.
2. Follow the Installation Guide
   This is included in the box, or you can download a digital version of the Passiv Smart Thermostat Installation Guide.
3. Connect the RS485 Modbus wiring
   All necessary RS485 Modbus connections can be found in Worcester Bosch RS485 connections.
4. Check the heat pump settings
   Make sure that all settings on the Worcester Bosch indoor controller are set to their default values.
5. Commission the Passiv Smart Thermostat
   Follow the instructions on the Programmer to commission the Passiv Smart Thermostat. You can find a video guide on commissioning on our YouTube channel.
