How to install the Passiv Smart Thermostat with a Kensa heat pump

To install the Passiv Smart Thermostat with Kensa heat pumps, for either 1 or 2 zones with wired or wireless Thermostats, follow the steps below. 

1. Check compatibility
   View all compatible Kensa heat pumps at Kensa supported heat pumps.
2. Follow the Installation Guide
   This is included in the box, or you can download a digital version of the Passiv Smart Thermostat Installation Guide.
3. Conect the RS485 Modbus wiring
   All necessary RS485 Modbus connection can be found in Kensa RS485 and immersion connections.
4. Connect the immersion wiring
   You can find where to connect the immersion wiring in Kensa RS485 and immersion connections.
5. Commission the Passiv Smart Thermostat
   Follow the instructions on the Programmer to commission the Passiv Smart Thermostat. You can find a video guide on commissioning on our YouTube channel.
