To enable the Passiv Smart Thermostat to control Daikin heat pumps, it requires a DCOM-LT/MB communication module, which shares power and communication connections with the Daikin indoor display.
On the DCOM-LT/MB are a set of eight DIP switches which must be set correctly 1-4 OFF, 5-7 ON for the Passiv Smart Thermostat to communicate successfully with the heat pump.

- Connect both screened drain wires together, insulate and carefully locate it at the edge of the unit to reduce the chance of a short-circuit. Do NOT use the GND connection for this purpose

Connect the remaining DCOM-LT/MB power and P1/P2 connections to the Daikin indoor display and fit the DCOM-LT/MB in a suitable enclosure to avoid accidental tampering.
