Daikin heat pump settings

The heat pump configuration is performed via options on the Daikin controller during the heat pump's commissioning process.

Other additional changes are accessed with the Daikin controller when the Installer user is unlocked.

Note: If relay controlled Daikin is being installed, hot water control is not supported and the Daikin commissioning selection and field settings are different. Please refer to the Daikin troubleshooting page for further information.

Daikin commissioning selections

Select Main Zone "Control" to “Leaving water” temperature control [Field Setting C-07 = 0]
Always select Emitter type as "Radiator". [Field Setting 2-0D = 2]. Further temperature limits for UFH can be applied within Passiv Programmer's Installer Menu under the "Mean Water Temperature" menu item
Select Tank "Heat up Mode" as "Reheat only" [Field Setting 6-0D = 0]
Set Tank "Hysteresis" as "2C" [Field Setting 6-00 = 2]

Daikin additional Field Settings

Within the Installer Settings menu select the "Overview field settings" then ensure the following settings are correct.

Note: Care must be made to avoid inadvertently changing the wrong field. These fields are not returned to default values after the Daikin is recommissioned.
